my female cat was fixed a year ago. she has loose skin hanging down from her belly. is it normal or should i have her looked over ?

my other female had the same thing but it went down a lot so she has a little flab on her. all my cats get as much exersize as i can get them to do and they don't lay around very much. what do you think? I NEED INFO.PLEASE.

Answers:

my cat also has "loose skin" hanging from her belly, that is what I call it, too. It is furry not just bald skin. It is totally normal for cats to have. My cat was spayed 9 years ago, is completely healthy (just had her annual physical in Aug.) and is in good shape; sometimes it just happens. If you are still concerned ask your vet about it at your next annual exam to set your mind at ease.

Normal. Some cats have big t*tties and some cats have small t*tties, that's all!
Take her to the VET!
Its definitley normal! she is fine and is pobably healthy!
my 9 year old short haired black cat needs a tummy tuck! It just happens sometimes. She is fine. Just loose hanging belly skin.
Loose skin is normal ..I've had several cats. If you really want to know, Just call a vet. I like cats very much.
Do not worry about it-this is normal for female cats that get fixed-my cat has the same thing and hers hangs down. I asked the Vet at last Check-up for thought might be too fat.Last check-up March 2007. Also My sisters cat has it -fixed female .Normal
this is completely normal. some cats have a little more belly flab to help them run faster. the more belly flab, the more they can stretch out, the faster they can run.
ALL CATS LAY AROUND !!
