should i even bother opinion
this is a question sparks from a response to my previous question about my sick kitten in which someone suggested maybe i shouldn't have a cat:
my kitten is sick again with diarrhea and throwing up, and besides the obvious health concerns due to me being pregnant and having her around the house till she is better, her vet bills are getting out of hand, and the vet here won't let me pay it out in payments. I am due any day now and i am begining to wonder if it is worth it in the long run for us to keep her or if we should just get rid of her before the baby gets here. She is WAY to dependent and attached to us humans to make an outside cat (she just cries as soon as u shut the door) plus there are 2 huge cats next door that would eat her alive. I am very attached to her now as well, since she bacame my bed-rest buddy these last couple weeks. I don't know what to do with her, no one will want a sick cat, but even if i get rid of her, how would i know she will be taken care of?
Answers:wow.. if you are worried about vet bills what are you doing having a kid.. kids cost WAY more than cats..
what is the kitty eating.. most problems can be traced to low quality foods - all foods from grocery store and wal mart ARE low quality - too much filler and not enough nutrition - lots of fat so the cat gets a shiney coat.. the owners think shiney coat = good food. but the cat has to eat sooo much food and fat is hard on the tummy = vomiting and loose stools.
