should leave the tv on for my kitten when she is at home alone
Cats are better off inside. If you have an outdoor cat it will cost more in the long run because you will have to make sure he has all of his shots to protect him against diseases. There is also cat leukemia that you have to worry about. If you plan on having your kitty declawed it's best to keep him inside to prevent him from getting out later on with no defense mechanisim.
the tv might make her happy just have the noise.i like it when i am alone. maybe you can get your kitty a friend. if i were you i would let the kitty be an inside kitty so she doesn't get hurt or pregnant.
yes,you could leave the tv on for your furry baby. some pets stores even hace dvd's and tapes for cats. please do't leave her out. i too live by a busy road and have seen cats splattered on the road all too often. indoor cats live longer, won't get torn up in fights, get cat=napped, or abused by people who get their kicks out of abusing helpless animals.
Dear Amy
your little baby would be absolutely thrilled if you leave just a radio on!! Your favourite station. Preferably a "relaxing" station and NOT heavy metal, bundu bashers (south african slang), etc.
she would rather stay INSIDE than outside. you are her best friend, mother, etc. She will be fine inside permanently.
Your vet bills will be minimal (no cat fights) only yearly vaccinations.
Try invest in one of those tall tree-like posts for scratching. And remember your undivided attention, love, cuddle, feeding the moment you get home. Weekends will definately be her special moments with you.
