give her about 2 weeks to a month to get used to you

try with her everyday feed her own her own and stroke her when she is eating let her know she is special give her Little treats

i have a shy cat she is 7yr old she is my best friend i hand feed her when she was born she hated my husband and anyone who came through the door aww i want a kitten :o)

when i got my kitten she would hide away anywhere she could. she took to my son and he has to do everything for her. shes now 18 months now and still nervous. we dont try and pick her up as it upsets her. all i know is that something happened b4 we got her. it has got better but any1 she does know who comes into the house she runs away. i wouldnt be without her.
