strange on sundays2007-11-25 12:26:01

i have a 6 month old kitten, he is always playful, demanding, mouthy and just plain fun! but for some reason on sundays hes very finiky, skidish and just independant when he's usually relying on me for everything.whats his problem? i swear he's starting to take on my boyfriends chararistics that he has on sundays because of football.i was thinking it might be because my bf is always yelling at the tv when the game doesnt go the way he wants.he is afraid of him now even though the yelling is not towards him. This morning he was back to his usual self, and im sure he will be until sunday again.what can i do?

It could be that you are interferring with his schedule since you are at home and not gone for part of the day. Maybe your kitty likes his routine and gets grumpy when it is changed.

Play with him and comfort him while your boyfriend is watching the game. Cats have memory so he might know whats going to happen on Sunday's so he get skid-dish. Cat nip really helps to calm a cat down and its fun to play with them while they are high.
put a muzzle on your boyfriend? haha. i have no idea this question astounds me. i've never heard of such a predicament. maybe you could try playing with him that day and see how he reacts. he could want attention, but the yelling may throw him off thinking he's doing something bad. as to the person above. cat nip doesnt work on kittens, its only good for 1+ year olds.
Hmmm.. I am thinking that the yelling boyfriend lounging in front of your television is more of a problem that a skittery kitten, but that is just me.
