My older cat sneezes alot and sometimes her nose bleeds..she seems ok otherwise..pretty healthy, just old
Answers:this is URTI (upper respiratory tract infection) not a hairball which doenst cause sneezing - hairballs make them gag and try to spit up the hairball
Usually cats get rid of hairballs on their own ive had my cat for 11 years and he just coughs them up his nose dont bleed though think thats a different problem
Signs of hairballs usually coughing or gaging like dry heaving. I've never heard of a cats nose bleeding . maybe you should ask a vet about that one.
They cough when they have hairballs stuck. She will stick her head really low and it will sound really raspy, but she will get it loose and spit it out. She may very well have some allergies causing the nose bleeds and sneezing.
My vet told me that you should put about a teaspoon of butter in your cats dish about once a month. Helps keeps things moving through the intestinal tract.
I do not think that is hairballs. Cats with hair balls puke up hair.
