Ihave a kitten and dont know what to feed him

I have had to feed little kittens before, go to the vet, they will tell you were to go to get milk, and a bottle, I got mine at Southern States, do you have one around were you live.

Consult a vet. They make kitten milk that is widely available (I know it's sold at Walmart and Petsmart).

a week old kitten needs to be nursing from it's mother. If she is not around or has no interest then you will need to bottle feed with a kitten milk replacer (NOT COWS MILK)every 2-3 hours, until the kitten is at least 5-6 weeks old. Are you old enough and responsible enough for that? If not then you better find a shelter or rescue group that will take it for you.

if it's only 1week old it should be nursing from it's mother otherwise can food at the age of 5wks old & it should say for kittens on it

If the mother is not around, u need to feed it kitten formula through a special baby bottle found at your local pet supply store. You may also want to give your vet a call to make sure this is the correct thing to do.

If it's with its mom, she will take care of it. If the kitten is an orphan, there are a few things you will need and need to do. Firstly is the food. Kitten formula and bottles are available at any petstore and even walmart I think. You will need to feed it every 2 or 3 hours, then stimulate its bottom and pee pee with a warm wet paper towel or washcloth after it eats so it will go to the bathroom. Keep the kitten warm with a bag of rice warmed in the micro wrapped in a towel. Make sure the kitten can get away from the heat, you don't want it to get too warm. Most important is get it to a vet as soon as you can.

i raised one on baby formula once. I used a medicine dropper (like for baby's) to feed her, you can pick one up at any pharmacy. She will die if you just give her plain milk.
