what breed is my kitten2007-11-25 12:26:37

My kitten is about ten months old. It has white fur, a black tail and black spots. It is meant to be half persian but i cannot see any persian in it. It has green eyes, check the link please. http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h119/j.

It looks like a typical American shorthair. However, just because it "may" be half Persian, it does NOT mean it will have long fur or a flat face. I have a kitten right now that is 100% Persian, and he does have the flat face, but his har is nowhere as long as it should be. The vet said it happens sometimes due to a recessive gene. I know my baby is a purebred, as I am a breeder. He is the only one of the litter that is like this.

how cute, it looks like it is a cat w/ 2 different parents, a mixed breed. and there is no persian relations that i can see in your cat.

It doesn't look much like a Persian kitten, they usually have flatter faces but it does look a lot like a Turkish Van - check out the pictures on the site below:
