Hi there.Bengals are very active and vocal cats. They very dog-like in their behaviour and always are interested in what their owners are doing and some will prefer the company of dogs over another cat. Many Bengals like water, drinking from a running faucet, pawing at their water dish and a small few will even jump into the shower with their owners.
However, they are not a cat for anyone who doesn't have enough time to play or give them attention as they will destroy a home to let you know they are upset. Many owners who have declawed Bengals discover too late end up learning that these particular cats do not fair well with this as they always overcompensate with very vicious biting, which is very painful to sustain since their canine teeth are larger than the typical domestic cats. Also many end up inappropriately urinating around the home too as a result of the declaw. Unfortunately, I have rescued so many because of the declaws. Anyhow, they are comfortable to have their nails trimmed so this is a kinder alternative.
