what should i do
my cat had four little kitties and one was an all white long haired kitty, my husband really wants to keep it but i don't think it is a good idea. we live in a very small 1 bed house and already have two full sized cats to take care of. he thinks we should get rid of the momma cat and keep the kitty but its hard to get rid of adult cats and honestly i love my momma cat shes a tonaniese which look like siamese. what should i do? what should i say to him?
Answers:I have 3 cats at my house and all of them were strays and they all have different personalities and it gives my home personality. There is always room for another cat. My oldest cat knows when my husband and i are sick he will lay next to you and not leave either one of us until we are better and that is why i love having cats. Keep the momma and the white one. It will be all good.
Personally, I'd get rid of the husband and keep the kitten.
Do as you're told woman.
But keep your cat.
I have 7 inside cats at my house and I end up going through over 40lbs of cat food and 100lbs of litter a month. That is in a three bedroom house. Taking care of the litter box is a full time job. Those are just some ideas on what may deter you husband especially if he's the one that has to change the litter
Cats are not disposable. just because you see a kitten or one you like better you don't just get rid of it. Your husband doesn't need a kitten he has a cat all ready which should be part of your family. Not a throw away because you (HE) decided he doesn't want it any longer
Keep the momma but GET HER FIXED. Keep the kitten too. You should be responsible for them since you let your cat get pregnant in the first place.
There is no way you should get rid of your cat. You should immedialy get your cat to the vet and get her fixed and any other pets you might have fixed so you don't keep having this problem. Tell your husband that both of these cats are both of your responsibility now, and that you need to take care of both of them. It's the ONLY right thing to do. Unless of course you know of someone more responsible that can take them in and keep them, since it is not good or nice to bounce them from place to place.
You both need to agree on this. 3 cats is a lot of work, and more expense. If you aren't ready for it, you aren't.
