ok i just god a new kitten,4 weeks what do i feed her?

Answers:

If she is already eating hard food, I would suggest Iams kitten chow, Eukanuba kitten chow, or Purina kitten chow.

If she is not yet eating hard food, you should get a good kitten chow and put either water or a milk replacer (like KMR) in the bowl with it when you feed her. Once she gets the hang of eating that, slowly wean her off of it by putting less and less water or milk replacer in it.

Also be sure and feed her at least 3 times a day and always have fresh water out for her where she can find it.

She's a bit young to be separated from her mother. Divetalact or something similar from your vet would be a good start. It's a formula for baby animals, similar to baby formula. I raised four pewter chinchilla kittens from two weeks old when their mother went missing, they thrived on this fed through a dropper. Kittens shouldn't really be separated from their mothers until 12 weeks old, pet shops take them at 8 weeks, 4 weeks old is very young.

You can buy kitten formula (it kind of looks like baby formula) and you can feed him/her with a bottle specially made for little kittens. You can find both of them at your vet or Wal*Mart.
