i noticed white like sores around my cats anus what is this is?

or what could cause this

did he catch something

Could be blisters. Watch him when he goes to the bathroom to see if he is straining, or if maybe he is rubbing himself on a carpet or other rough surface.

I can't find anything on what it could be, but I did find a paper that said if your cat's anus shows any swelling or bumps, seek veterinary care.

are they bumps,, or are they things that could fall off. My guess is your cat has worms. Animals with a bad case of worms will have the larva wiggling out there anus. It is a pretty nasty thing to see, but the worms are not really hurting the animal, there just eating all the stuff in the cats colon, its a very easy thing to treat also, there are some over the counter remedy's, or the quick shot from a vet.
