most men hate cats cause they like to cuddle and rub against you. They see this as being too feminist and it does not blend with their male ego. Women are so loving and just love cats cause the cat will come and cuddle against them and will show its appreciation to the woman when she holds it and pampers it.

I think that men don't get along well with cats because most men are self-centered, and want to be adored, and cats don't do adoration! I think in the same vein that women like cats because cats ARE independent. Most women have plenty of people depending on them already, so it's a nice change to have something - even a cat - in their lives that doesn't have to be told where his car keys are, or how to get dressed.

Beacuse cats are sentimental and that pretty much describes a females personality and also women R catty so we feel like we can relate to cats more LOL. I myself love cats they are my favorite animals. Of course I am a female>
