the kittens are now 4 weeks old and i went to check on them just a while ago,they are outside by the way,and she has moved them again.i have found them before when she has moved them but now she has found a great hiding place,maybe the barn??
Answers:my cat did the same. she's just trying to protect them and move them to a safe place away from people and things. somewhere were it is warm, comfortable and safe. she's doing her mommy duties.

She's probably moving them because you keep messing with them. Do you really want to keep your kittens in the barn? If you plan on getting rid of them, it may just be wise to keep them in your house. It'll save the future owner a vet bill. I got a "barn" kitten and I paid twice as much as I did for my other cats because it had all kinds of crap going on with it. The vet said because it was in the barn and exposed to more stuff than what it would have inside the house.
Shes afriad that something will hurt them and wants to move them so nothing will.

that was pretty stupid to put 4 WEEK OLD kittens outside in the cols. she probably took them somewhere warm so they wouldn'y get pnomonia and die! she is just moving them to protect them. leave them alone, thats what the mom wants. she doing what she should be doing.
