why does my cat only lay on paper if i make a bed for him he wont use it, there can be various thing
floor or around the room but they will only lay on paper or boxes. wtf?
Answers:LOL! Typical kitty! That is why whenever I buy my cats new toys I won't offer them directly. I just place them here and there throughout the house and let them seek them out on their own. That way they feel like they've discovered something special all by their superior selves. It's like they have to prove to themselves how exceptional and distinctive they are! God forbid they should be common or predictable! Cats are soooo funny!
My cat does this too though I have never figured out why, sorry
a cat loves a box a friend of my breed cats and she bought beds for them,but they wanted the box which it came in with instead of the beds.

My cats lay on everything, including paper. If you want a little fun, give your kitty a brown paper bag. He'll play in & out of it, and probably end up going to sleep there.

They love to be inside things. My cats will get into shopping bags, one inside and the other outside and swat at eachother. Or if I bring in a box they will get into it. Even an open suitcase.
As for the paper, any time I sit to work on homework, scrapbook, or anything with paper, my older cat will come plop right in the middle. Its really funny. So I will normally start to pretend to write on him with a capped pen or something like that till he gets annoyed and walks away. Only to return 5 mintes later for another round. The little one likes to "warm" my clothes in the morning. Any time I set out clothes on the bed he will move from wearever he is to lay across them. Like my little rink iron.
They are funny animals like that. As long as you have them you'll just have to cope with it.
I think that a cat that 'lays' must be a hen!
i fink its jus normal coz mi cat dus that 2! she always lies on paper, books or anythin on the floor, dont worry bout it not goin on the bed coz it obviousli prefers the floor
