no cats do that--by her age I see she at the tail end (no pun intended) of being a kitten and will still do "kitten stuff" for a little while yet
It's possible that your cat is under stimulated. Do you play with her during the day? Is she home alone while you're at work, doing nothing? She may be restless, and demanding in her kitty way for attention.
Yeah, she's a few fries short of a Happy Meal. Well not really. She's just a kitten and wants to play. Get her some toy mice or a cat 'tree' to play with so she's not bothering you two at night.
she's probably wanting to play my cats pounce on me a lot at night because they see a foot or hand or something move and they take it as a sign that i'm wanting to play. give her a little time and when she gets older this won't be so much of a problem. or try shutting the bedroom door at night to prevent late night pounces (well. from the cat anyway :P )

My cat does that too, he's a kitten 6 months old and very playful in the middle of the night , so i started letting him outside in the back yard for a couple of hours a day , now he sleeps through the night.
