can any one help why has my 6 month old kitten suddenly started having the runs out of the blue .

kittens have really sensitive stomachs. Has it had anything different to eat or drink than you would normally give? Also, it could be getting a fright from the fireworks. Try to make sure that it drinks some water so that it doesn't get too dehydrated, dont give it milk tho, or it will be worse. Phone the vets in the morning, better to be safe than sorry. Hope it's ok.

Have you changed his food? Could he have eaten something bad? If its goes on more than a day I'd take him to the vet.

If the kitten has been out he may have ate a mouse or something, or have you wormed kitten recently?

it might be cuz its sick or some foods u give him its not agreeing with him or her so change the food for a wile and see if it works good luck

Diarrhea is only a symptom of intestinal distress and only a vet can help you find out the cause. It could be worms or an infection of coccidia or something along that line.

So you will need a diagnosis by a vet to correct it. You kitten is old enough so that his life is probably not in danger because of severe dehydration and if it continues much longer he can become very sick.

if you change its diet that does happen i had a cat the same age and we kept changing its diet from hard food to soft and also different brands of the soft and hard food but if you keep it steady on one food or brand then that should fix your problem but you can change its diet every now ans then

Be careful. It麓s not common but some cats are alergic to cat food. My cat has this problem. She only eats normal food: Chicken,meat,fish.

Get it to a vet if this goes on for more than a day.Cats can get dehydrated and need treatment which can be simple. Don't let your cat suffer.
