why is kitten eating kitty litter
I dont know if shes learning to poop there, or just eat? How do I stop that?
Answers:I have 5 week old kittens and they "eat" a few pieces because they play in it and its like a toy to them. The vet says to make sure u do not use clumping cta litter for that reason, they eat it. use clay or some natural thing. One of them will walk ovet to it and just eat it, so I take him away and put him infront of food. Hes odd. but i guess its normal for kittens.

You might want to try changing cat litters. I use a recycled paper litter, at least that way they don't eat clay! Check out www.kittiesinthehood.com!
she probably likes whatever the coating is on this particular kitty litter, you should buy a different brand of litter next time.
That's a good question. My cat use to do that when she was a kitten too. I don't know why but she is a year now and she doesn't do it anymore. Your cat will probably grow out of it too. Sorry I wasn't more help.
