Your own kitty may actually be responding to your pregnancy to some extent; we have five cats, and one of them (not "my girlfriend") is very sensitive to the health of the family (cats and humans alike). So it's possible that she knows something's going on and she's staying close to you to support you and show her affection.
As for why the one cat does this and the other doesn't, cats are all unique individuals with their own personalities, likes and dislikes. I've noticed recently that while all of our cats like us, some of them just like to be in the same room as us while others like to snuggle. I've taken to calling them "proximity cats" and "contact cats," depending on whether they just like to be near us (which is nice) or lie up against us (which can be very sweet, if sometimes annoying).

she just loves you when the baby comes just make sure you still show her attention an not just the baby let her sit with you an the baby pet her while you hold the baby whatever you can do with both to let her now you stilll like her as well
both my cats are that attached to me. i got them when they were only 6 weeks so im like mommy to them.
your cat may get jealous. you just need to let her know that you still love her and comfort her.
your other cat may not be attached because she sees that the first one is so close to you. she probably doesn't have it in her personality to get attached
