Its perfectly normal, she's just bonded to you. You probably got her first. The other cat isn't because she probably is bonded to your cat instead of you. Cats have different personalities like we do. She probably just loves all the attention. Just make sure you give her lots of love once the baby comes so she doesn't feel abandoned.

She loves you!! My cat is like that too. I am constant cat furniture for him. My husband says the cat waits for me to come home and when I pull in the driveway he meows until I come in! Your kitty just loves you!!

May I interject some caution with cats and babies? Never leave them alone in the same room, the baby will be too small to push the cat away from its face or body..the cat will be drawn to the smell of the milk and the warmth of the baby, this is perfectly natural.also be aware of scratches from the cat.our oldest son came down with cat scratch fever from the cat we had at the time, Scotts hand was danging down out of his crib and the cat playfully scratched him, the infection is a swollen gland under his armpit called a lympth node..he had to be admitted to the childrens ward and treated with antibiotics, he enjoyed all the extra attention he got from the nurses and is doing well now, and has two adult children of his own and a new granddaugher!

my cat hooter is the same way he is always following me around i even trip over him sometimes but he still follows me around he even walks up to my moms house and waits outside for me hell he even gets in the shower with me when i had my daughter he got upset with me cause i couldnt give him the attention he needed aka sitting on my lap holding him all the time. when the baby comes just give the cat attention and it will be fine.
