my vet did tell me though that if you neuter an older tom cat that he may fight anyways..that once they are that old and mean they are only in it for the fight and hormones don't hardly come into play then.- so have kitty neutered or spayed as soon as it is old enough to have the operation done- a fixed kitty is a happy and healthy kitty- best of luck to you and kitty

My cat used to attack her own 2 daughters whenever they were anywhere close to her. I would have to yell at her again and again.she was hissing so often that every single time someone hissed I knew she was the one that was agressive.

I then decided to neuter all of them.at first she was still hissing at them and occasionaly attacking them.but after a little while.she completely stopped.not only is she not agressive, she became extremely playful.
