thats a huge difference compared to her before she got neutered.(she used to run after my 2 year old german sheperd, hissing and attacking the poor dog just for not being in a room where the dog wasnt allowed).

As many others have said, it is certainly worth a try. Neutering is worthwhile in many aspects: lessened aggression, lack of "spraying", and also the original intent of it, sterilization in case he gets out.

We have three cats in our home, two males and a female, all fixed. The male cats play rough with each other and generally leave the female alone, as well as their owners. While getting them fixed won't change their personality (if it's an aggressive cat, he's going to be that way regardless), it will reduce/eliminate the hormones that make him that way. And think about getting him a playmate.

In the meantime, when he acts aggressive, give him a little squirt with a water gun. After a few times, he'll get the message.

I had a male cat who was aggressive to strange animals and sprayed anything and anyone. I had him neutered, and after about a week, the spraying stopped. The aggressive behavior slowed a little, but he still escaped occasionally and came home all beat up. However, at least he stopped scratching the heck out of ME.
