I had ringworm for weeks and then finally went to my doc. He said I got it from either my dog or my Mom's dog. I couple days later a found a spot on my Mom's dog that just looked like mine. We took her to the vet and she said it didn't look like ringworm. She plucked a couple hairs out of the area and told us she would call us in a couple of days. She never called. I know she had ringworm because it was in a circle, red, and dry like mine was. What should I do, call the vet back or put the cream I got for mine on the dogs ringworm?
Answers:i would call the vet first. if you don't get a hold of the vet, i would all the animal hospital near you. you would find it in your phone book. i would not put the cream on because it mite hurt the dog. if you look on the back or the box it came in, it should should say if it ok for putting it on animals. but if it doesn't say it don't put it on the dog.
i would call the vet back and ask if u could use the cream!
well yes u can do that! no side affects!
Im a junior vet in india and also have a kennel with 50 odd dogs its safe!
Call the vet back..and do NOT put the cream on the dog that your doctor gave to you. It's not the same kind of treatment that a dog gets.I'm sure on your cream it says not tested on animals.
