Any suggesstions for my lost
My Yorkie died in May due to being hit by a car. Before that I had her for 2 years and cherished her dearly. I took her everywhere I went including out of town and she slept with me every night and she was so adorable. I am still grieving over her till this day and don't know what I can do to ease the pain. Please help.
Answers:I recently had a loss, My dog was hit by a car too. It was a shock. I miss her. There is chat rooms for people that are grieving for pets I'm also going to make a scrape book about her. I try to look back at all the memories we had. Here is a site I went. They have a pet loss group in the evening. I found it helpful . pethobbyist.com they have all sorts of chat rooms for pets or type/chat room for pet loss etc. search. I felt better being able to chat with others. I know what your going through. you'll be in my thoughts.
I'm not trying to sound insensitive here because I know how hard it is to lose a pet but maybe you should get a new pup. That will probably help a lot!
awww im so sorry
you could get another one in her place you won't miss her less but you'll develop a new love for the new pup and you'll cherish her with a new love
Get another little puppy. Maybe one from a local shelter or the pound. So many pets die because there is simply no room for them. This could help you to remember the best of your pet. The puppy could keep u company and help you to ease the pain. I am sooooo sorry about your dog.
My heart goes out to you, I know your pain. Unfortunately time is the only thing that will heal the pain. Have you considered getting another pet? I hated walking into an empty house and will never let that happen again. Good Luck and You will always have a special place in your heart for your Yorkie and that will never go away.
Losing a pet is hard. The only thing I can tell you is to get another one. People who have pets have them because they have alot of love to give. You have lost that. The time you were spending with her is empty now. You obviously loved her very much and deserve to share that love with another animal. It won't bring her back but it will give you a chance to move on and start the healing process. As long as you remember her you will always have her with you. God Bless!
My boxer of 14 years died 3 months ago. The pain is still there but I try to remember him as he was. I also had him cremated and his ashes sit on my shelf that has helped to keep him nearby. I also just got a kitten. Duke loved kittens and I feel that he is happy that I have a new friend. Good Luck.
I agree with clarebear. Get another dog from the shelter. It might not be a Yorkie, but a dog is a dog; it will always be willing to be your friend no matter what breed. At the same time, you can save a dog's life. I hope you'll feel better soon.
Don't hold on to the pain forever. By no means am I saying to forget her, you should cherish your memories with her forever. But just don't get lost in the grief. I know exactly what it feels like to lose someone like that. (human and pet) My grandpa died this year, my dad died when I was 1, and 2 of my dogs died, one about 2 1/2 yrs ago, the other about 4 years ago. Best of luck and many smiles. I hope my advice helps a little bit. And to any who say get a new one, first get over the loss of the first dog, it always helps. Dogs really do become like children in a family. We become very connected to them.
I am so sorry. Just cry all you want and then when your ready buy another pet.
Well sorry to hear that. You got to be veryc areful about letting your pets run about on the road. Accidents happen every day.
Get another pet and be careful not to allow it to run on the road again.
I have a Yorkie-poo who will be 11 in Dec. I would be heart broken if something happened to her, but I think I would want to, not replace her,but get a new puppy. They are so wonderful and so much company. And I do understand My Spanial died in March and I still miss him very much and no pup could replace him but could only add to the memories and make new ones.
