Anyone familar with a "Chocolate Lab" dog2007-11-25 2:58:17

Have one within our family and just wanted to get to know all about that breed.

Answers:

It's the same thing as a labrador dog. They come in three colors: Yellow, black, and chocolate (brown).

labs are very friendly and energetic dogs which originiated in Canada. They are easy to train and good w/ Kids. There are chocolate labs, black labs, and yellow labs. Good looking dogs

Chocolate is only a color description. The breed is Labrador Retriever.

The breeder you got your dog from should be able to give you all information on the breed. That is why one should buy from a reputable breeder, and why responsibility is neccessary in breeding dogs. To the breed as well as the buyer of dogs.

If you can't get info from the breeder, You should get a book, do a search on the web for a Labrador club for information.
