Can People allergic to dogs comfortably live with a dog2007-11-25 3:00:05

Is there anything that can be done to decrease the allergens? My bf is allergic and I have a dog, help!

You can get a spray at your pet supply shop, that will help.. You apply it daily to the dog after brushing, and it holds down the dander..(allergens)

poodles , yorkies and some other breeds have hair-like fur so they are less likely to upset allergies. If you already have a pooch, you can buy air purifiers (good ones with hepa filters) and they can help. Vacuum rugs and drapes very often will help, too.
