Can someone give me an idea2007-11-25 3:00:09

Im taking my dog to the vet today to have x rays done, and thats it.. no shots or blood work, just x rays.. I want to know about where the price is for vet x rays.. I would call the vet and ask but they are closed till after lunch and his appt is right after lunch :).. i just want to be prepared for it ya know!!..

oh yea th x rays is on his paw!! if that makes a difference

At my vet the ex rays are $35 each, plus the office call..If only a tech is to see the dog, then it would be less (no office call) but if the vet does it, it would be the office visit charge as well.Here, the office visit is $38..

I live in Oregon, but was similar price in Central CA.

Unfortunately, ever vet has different price scales. when I worked for a vet in PA it was the office call, $40.00 plus x-rays. which usually ran about $65.00 per x-ray. They will take at least 4 views . so you are looking about around $300.00 give or take. You may want to see if the vet has a website that lists fees. good luck
