My dog has a swollen mouth from an infection and I was wanting to know if I can give him them and what type of antibiotics he can have. I know they sell them at the local feed store here.

Amoxie Drops are good antibiotics,or amoxcillin.Don't give your pet human antibiotics as it will cause death.Suggest you see your vet.If you know how to give injection,you may purchase the penicillen at your local feed store and give your pet around 1/2 cc per 3 lbs on a 3 cc syringe ,twice daily,or same dose for gentimicin.

Only prescription medication from the vet. human drugs are very dangerous in a dogs system!! they could make the infection worse or have serious issues with the dogs stomach linning. i wouldent take the risk especially if you love the woof woof :)

You can give your pet antibiotics, but you should have the vet prescribe them. You don't want to make your pet sick from medicine that they can't handle or the wrong dosage.

You need to give him what the vet gives you. You have to know the proper kind to give and the dosage. Call your vet, maybe he can prescibe something over the phone. Do not give him any human antibiotics. You may overdose him.
