Can you help me find a Dog Name2007-11-25 2:59:47

I have two dogs and both their names are spices. I am going to get the same kind of dog once she is born,and of course I want to to name HER a spice! My other two dogs names are Ginger and Nutmeg. And just to let you know, Basil, Clover, or Pepper is out of the question because to me they sound more like boy names. So can you think of any names? And whoever finds a cute, IRISH spice to name my dog first, will get best answer!

Answers:

Mace is a covering for the nutmeg. Macey would be really cute!

Sorrel is also used in cooking fish and eggs. it is a herb tho

Coriander is used in savory and sweet dishes.Cori for short.

When making Corned beef and cabbage I use pickling spice and these are the ingredients in pickling spice: Cinnamon, Allspice, Mustard seed, Coriander, Bay leaves, Ginger, Chilies, Cloves, Black pepper, MACE, AND Cardomom.

Fennel is used in sausages and I love Irish sausage.

Saffron is a beautiful yellow/orange color.to go with Ginger and Nutmeg.

Sage is also used in sausages and poultry seasoning.

Dill is used in pickles

Terragon is another spice but not sure how much it is used in Irish cooking. Terra would be nice

Marjoram is another spice.

Rue is a medicinal herb

I would use either Macey or Sorrel or Coriander (Cori)
