Can you tell if a puppy is mixed with pit bull or not They said she was mixed with bull dog but look

was bull dog mix thats all, but she looks like boxer, and the vet said could be boxer/pit bull or even boxer/shar pei because of wrinkles under neck and some wrinkles on forehead?? She has real soft fur. also i noticed her front legs look funny when she walks, like she has knees?? the paws don't seem to touch the ground all the way or she is bending a knee? anyone know what i mean? could this be in a certain breed?? thanks alot!!

We had the same problem when we adopted our dog nearly a month ago. Animal control had him down as simply a lab mix. So we were trying to figure out at least one of the other breeds he could be. I was leaning towards some type of hound because of his flat head, floppy ears, and square jaw with jowls that hang down a little ways past his bottom jaw. The day after we got him, my husband hit on it; boxer. He has the short, red and white coat, the wrinkly forehead, the long slender legs, the higher back end, and the big feet with long toes. He's also a bit bouncy and plays with EVERYTHING with his feet:)

Something you could try that we did; go to Google or Yahoo and do an image search for the breeds you think your dog is. Type in "boxer pitbull mixes" and check out the pictures that pop up. If that's not it, try another mix of breeds. When we did this for "lab boxer mixes" we came up with pictures that look strikingly like our beloved Cooper:)
