Cheapest/Easiest way to Buy/build a Large Dog Pin2007-11-25 3:00:22

Hi, I am trying to figure out the cheapest yet nice looking, easiest way to build or buy a large dog pin for a great dane. I want it to look decent but I dont have the biggest budget. Please no stupid answers like, you shouldnt have a dog, or something stupid, i just moved into this house and I need a fence/pin..so if you can help, I'd appreciate it. I need to know how to build it also.lol..

i assume you are meaning a dog pen. These can be tricky actually especially depending on the dog. Some need to be high while still strong. If you want to build it yourself, expect to pay from 200-400 depending on the materials you use. You will want to make it out of strong tubing with equally strong fencing. You can see the materials they use and if you decide to build it yourself, you can at least see what materials you'll need.

If a part of your yard is already fenced, I would suggest a 6 ft chain link fence with a gate on it so you can put the dog in and out easily. I did that once for an exercise run and it worked very well. Just hook on to what you already have.
