I have a 7 lb dog that is paper trained, but suddenly started going pe-pe on my bed. This has happened 5-7 times in the last month. I don't get it cause, he goes on paper and outside just fine. I am getting frustrated and need advise.

Is he a chihuaua by any chance? I have one and she does that occasionally. She is also pp pad trained and goes outside. I think it's because she is so high strung and occasionally gets mad at us for whatever reason. Sometimes she gets so excited when we play, I think she forgets the bed is not a pp pad. By the way Chico is my husbands nickname, just could be the name. lol.

Clean out the bed really well. Chico could've had an accident once, and because he could smell the urine, it encourages him to pee more. The same kind of effect is with the paper.

this is marking his territory its the same with cats. he must have a soft spot for ur bed does he only pee on ur bed if ur sleeping on it or relaxing if so he's marking his territory on u.

he's feeling protective. i don't really know what else to suggest ask ur vet they should give u very good advice and tips it's only a phone call away.

oh yh and put vinegar on ur bed where he wee's or spray him with water wen he wee wee's good luck

HE MAY BE REACHING MATURITY AND MARKING HIS TERRITORY (YOU). AND DON'T LET HIM ON THE BED. TRY TYING HIM IN THE SAME LOCATION AS HIS PAPERS. MAYBE HE NEEDS A REMINDER. IF HE'S AN OLDER DOG, MAYBE HE'S DEVELOPING A CONTROL PROBLEM AND IS AFRAID TO JUMP OFF THE BED.
