My sisters and I all want a dog but don't know what to get because our parents don't like dogs that shed too much or huge size dogs. They like dogs that are medium or small size dogs. Got any ideas which kind/type of dog to choose?

Answers:

Medium dogs are the best size their not to small or to big.

I have an australian terrier and a Rottweiler. The aussie terrier has long hair and the rottie has short although the rotttie looses A LOT more hair than the aussie terrier. The aussie terrier looses hardly any hair, is a small dog and has a great nature mayb their the dog for you.

Get a basset. They are medium, don't shed much, and love love love people.

My in-laws just got a border collie. She's small and so adorable! I'm not sure if they shed, but by the looks of it, they probaby do. Just a suggestion. Hope you find your dog!

good ole heinz 57 short haired from the pound. needs the least care and are the most loveable. Small dogs are usually yappy so parrents are not crazy about the idea of a dog. Get a 57 their a good dog and you save a life from the pound:-)

you could get jack russells they don't shed much if you get the short haired or you could get minture pincher too!!
