My dog is a Boxer and is 3 years old but has only just started doing it.
Answers:boredom?
Keep them in trim
lock the power tools away when you have finished with them.
Does he have toys to play with? Do you spend enough time playing with him? These are things you have to look at. If the answer to both of these is yes, then contact your vet. It could be medical or it could be a bad habit. Either way ask your vet, I'm sure they will know the answers.
your dog may have something stuck there, or they could be hurting him, try the vets and see if he is having any discomfort, maybe he is shedding his teeth for his new ones to come through..by the way.i ADORE boxer dogs, i had one called Sasha but sadly we lost her through a tumour in her brain 3 years ago..thinking about getting another one..have fun with your lovely dog.they are beautiful animals
Same reason as humans, maybe its a habit. Im sure dogs get habits too?
our cats and dogs grind.its usually coz their teeth arent being worn away, and are growing a tad too big.dog molars are huge. see your vet for advice
Hi Bigdaz
Did you ever think that he may be trying to talk to you. Or trying to show you he has a tooth ache,,,, i prefer the trying to talk to be honest
extreme pain will cause it. Get it to a vet ASAP.!!
