Could anyone give me a reason / explanation as to why this happened2007-11-25 3:00:26

i was driving on the freeway and on the carpool lane (dimond lane), the one over to the far left, i saw a dead pug.

how did he end up there? any guesses? i was just distrbed by the whole scene.

many people toss out dogs and cats because they cant or dont want to take care of them, some people feel that someone will find the animal and take care of it and make it there own. some drop off unwanted puppies instead of getting an animal spayed or neutered, some kill the babies as soon as the pet has them by bashing them in the head,

i live out of town, in a desilate area, in the desert, but by the freeway and there are many animals dropped off out here.

my dogs were one time barking alot, and i found a male, female, and newborn goat on the entrance ramp to the freeway.

people think that an animal has the instinct to survive, but domesticated animals dont have that instinct anymore. that poor dog must have happened upon the freeway, and died a very scarry death.

this is a sad epidemic, like bob barker always says

"get your pet spayed or neutered" and if you want a pet and are responsible, get one from the pound or a shelter.

myself, or my family has had many pets over the last 40 yrs. i am 44 yrs old, i currently have 6 dogs, 5 were rescued, 2 cats, a bird, rescued, and fish, luv them all, and the rescured ones seem to luv me more then the others.

somehow they know.
