Has anyone actually "tipped a cow"? Don't know why Im asking

I don't think it's really as easy, or possible, as t.v. makes it look. I see a lot of cattle where I work as a kennel tech and they are unbelievably heavy animals. And they are naturally wary of everything that moves or makes noise because of their prey instincts.

It is not possible to go cow tipping. Most cows sleep laying down and will wake up if they hear anything unusual. If one cow hears a noise, the whole herd hears the noise. Most people who swear up and down that they have been cow tipping were drunk at the time it "supposedly" happened. Do you really believe someone who was drunk and had no idea what they were doing at the time?? Read what "JoeJack" says, "you have to be drunk". Doesn't that back up what I've just typed?

No I have never gone but forever I have wondered how they do it because I have lived on a farm my whole life and our cows sleep laying down. But you have to do it at a dairy because they usually sleep standing up because they are so close to eachother

Cow tipping is a mean sport created and done by teenagers.It is and has been very dangerous to a few kids. It usually entails pushing a cow to the ground. Anyone who handles livestock will tell you you should know what your doing when around them. Farmers will sometimes push a cow down on her side to medicate her or look at wounds etc. I know of a case in NY state a farmer had a prize bull in his field to imptregnate 1 or 2 cows when the so called cow tippers came. The young man was confined to a wheelchair for the rest of his life.
