I NEED 2 FIND A SHELTER IN VA THAT HAS GOLDEN DOODLES! CAN ANY1 HELP ME? IF UR ASKING WHERE IN VA ...ANY WHER NEAR ANNANDALE!

you may have to widen your search area

When you look on petfinder you have to search under golden retreiver or poodle, may may be listed as just golden retriever or retriever mix, indentifying breed mix can be difficult because many golden doodle will not have the long curly hair tehy can end up looking like a golden but have a poodle personality or vice versa, because the pups are continually bred from 2 purebreds there is no consistency on what they will look or act like, so even a shelter can get one in a not be sure what it is, most breeder show pictures on a blond dog with a long curly coat but maybe only a 1/4 of the litter will end up looking like that, so unless a shelter got the dog from a person that got from a breeder they can only guess at the identity of the dog.

You can try some of the rescues in your area possibly ask to be put on a waiting list should one come in

Petfinder.com would probably be very helpful- there are lots and LOTS of listings of puppies and dogs in shelters and rescues and you can search by your zip code to find the ones nearest you or search by breed if you'd like. Hope this helps!
