My 5 year old dog scratches and even bleeds on her underbelly due to this scratching. There are no parasites on her like ticks or fleas and I bathe her regularly, once a week, with all the medicinal shampoos. She does not go out on her own and is always in our yard where there are flowers and plants only and grass of course.

Also, he had to eat Kangaroo meat, but sometimes you can just get a hypo-allergetic food for him. Pet smart has kangaroo meat. Also, scratching may be a sign of outdoor allergies, not food.
