They're my dog's favorite past time.

I don't think so. Actually, they're not very good for dogs. I don't think that they digest very well, or something. Try to find something that's designed to help keep teeth clean, like Greenies or C.E.T. Chews. Just make sure you give your dog the proper size and monitor him/her while she's chewing.

Don't think so, but I was told by a friend who trains puppies to be service dogs for some organization in Florida, that they use formaldehyde (sp) when making them, so he refuses to give them to his pups. Not sure if that's true, but worth checking into.

I stopped giving it to my dogs, they ended up fighting, and one would always throw them up. I started buying soup bones in the grocery store, cooked them in some water and used those, they absolutely loved them, but again stopped because of the fighting.

very little but they are very bad for your dog. Especially if he is small or likes to swallow large pieces of the rawhide. They often times get stuck in the intestines and can cause serious problems for your dog and to fix it it costs a lot of money..like over $1,000. So be very careful. Other treat out there are much better for your dog and much safer.
