what are they like? I'm looking for a cute and affectionate dog, and i'm trying to decided betwen a griffon or a boston terrier.

My two cents here. I would really go for the Brussels Griffon. it's just adorable, funny and loving. Go for a female. You could have tons of fun dressing-up that little thing, even you could use her to accessorize your own outfits. you know what I mean? you could coordinate outfits, get matching fabrics and all that kind of things that you girls do. Take pictures if you do that. that would be sooo cute.

I have several Brussel Griffons and if you want a pet that is very intelligent and sorta a kick backed ,loving ,little pet,the Brussel Griffon is for you.On the other hand I have owned the Boston Terriers,but they are very hyper pets,too frisky for me,but cute pets

Brussels can be shirty, stubborn (okay, pig headed), tough to train, difficult to deal with. Their breed club tries to be polite and calls it "self-important." They can also be great little clowns and are very loving.
