Do you have a yorktese
Also known as a Morkie. A Yorkshire Terrier cross with a Maltese. What are they like? Would you recommend this cross breed as a good family pet? Thanks

they are a gimmick dog.. a cross between too breeds sold for outragously high prices.
the parents used to make such crosses are always low quality dogs - if they were good quality they would be breeding purebreds NOT mutts
I would seriously rethink your purchase.. do not give any money to somebody as unethical as this.. you are paying too much for a low quality pup.. sure its cute.. but all pups are cute.
you would be far better off to go to your local Humane Society or SPCA and look at the puppies they have there, the costs will be far better and they will give you better info because they are there for the pets NOT for profit, the SPCA will get new pups every week so keep checking or ask to be on a waiting list.
NEVER NEVER buy from a pet store - you pay too much and contribute to the cruel industry of puppy mills and get low quality pets.
now.. there is nothing wrong with mutts on a whole but to buy a mutt that was intentionally bred to be a mutt is WRONG
i don't know about a morkie but i have a chorkie. she's a Chihuahua Yorkie mix. she's really sweet and is good with the family.

It is impossible to tell what the temperament will be with a mixed breed dog.
Most mutts are good dogs. I would not pay anything for it though. If you want a good "designer dog", then go to the shelter.
I don't know what they are like, but both dogs are gentle breeds, so I'm assuming they would breed nicely and ADORABLE! Together! SO CUTE~!
Yes,I have a Yorktese and they make wonderful pets.My Yorktese looks exactly like a Yorkie and both parents are small type.He has a great ,loving temperment and they make an excellent pet.I have a kennel located in MS.
YES I have one and they are the best dogs ever !! yorktese was potty trained in 5 days i also have a maltipoo a maltese mixed with a poodle they are also great dogs !
