do you know anything about labs anything special! like what do you do about if they are picky eaters i know I know it sounds weird for a lab to be a picky eater but it is true.

I had two black labs, the mother and her daughter, each on their own would pick and choose what they liked. one would eat celery, while the other one ate red liqorice, one ate pretzels, and the other would eat chocolate. I watched as these dogs were being born, and the mother passed away at 15 &1/2, while her daughter is still here at 17 and 3 months. I feel so Blessed having them, time goes by fast, enjoy and indulge them. And it gives you a chance to bond with your dog and will eventually give great memories.

I don't trust Labs. So many people say that they're the ideal family dog, but due to inbreeding, they can have very nasty temperaments. I've had a few Labs come after my Akita.

My lab is a purebred black lab, and she eats only twice a day, and eats only what the dog food prescribes as a normal portion. She wolfs it down and loves it. You might want to talk to a vet, there may be some other issues going on. Labs are usually not too finicky about anything - they just need a lot of exercise, and like attention. What have you fed the dog previously?

most labs are not picky eaters. they do tend to be a little hyperactive but are extremely loyal. most are easy to train and do well with children. they have a high tolerance for annoyances but can be startled by loud noises. these are generalizations about the breed, alot will be decided about how you raise, treat, and love your lab. hope this helps
