Because the dogs are not as smart as we are. they can't lie to you or deceive you; they never make you feel inadequate.
Because the dogs are easy to please. they are thrilled with a stick, some dog food or some petting; they never need a fancy house or yacht.
Because dogs are not critical. they won't notice or care if you are ugly or have bad breath or pick your nose
I have three children and a dog. My dog never complains about "nothing to eat" when the cupboards are full. "nothing to do" Never asks for money. Never rolls her eyes at me. Mostly listens to me.Stays by my bed when I'm sick (even if the rest of the family is eating pizza downstairs). She's awesome!
I love mine because she's loyal and always seems to know when I'm having a bad day. She'll snuggle up to me and give me doggie kisses when I feel bad.
She'll never leave me, cheat on me, or betray me in any way. She'll love me whether I am skinny, fat, ugly or pretty.
She will not judge me, no matter what I do.
She's beautiful and smart. She is patient and loving.
Dogs tend to act just like kids, so you can't help but love them so much!
I think people love their dogs so much because of layalty. Dogs are always there for you no matter what happens. They are our best companions and i have heard stories of elderly people having dogs and when one or the other passes away, the other is soon to follow. They truly are a man and womens best friend!
