We totally love our dog as part of our family, we have a black lab and he is treated just like a baby,, he has his blanket, his toys, his treats, We have always loved all of our animals like this..
My dog is my friend, my companion and one of the few living things I've found in this life that loves me, unconditionally and with no ulterior motive.

Our dog IS part of the family.
They are definitely part of our family. They are spoiled rotten. They are 70 lb. female black labs. My daughter painted their toe nails. They think they're lap dogs -but they are well behaved. We love them. oh, we have 2 - from the same litter. We take them to dog beach atleast once a week. fun. fun. fun. yep, family. woof.
I love them like they are my first born children. They are my babies and if anybody hurt them I would protect them like a mother. I've never been able to think of my pets as just "animals". They are companions who are more loyal and loving than some human know how to be.
she's definately part of the family, but she isn't allowed to act as a human, otherwise she'd be running the whole show.

Everything we do revolves around them.Their needs are met almost always before ours are.
Just as if they were children we make up games for them to play to entertain and keep them from being bored.We do our best to keep them calm in new or uncomfortable situations and try hard to make them understand they have no need for fear when they're anxious or uncertain.
They have never been crated,kenneled or chained nor will they ever be.
My dogs are most absolutely my babies! Each has a very distinct personality and they just make me smile!! :o)
