I do agree there's a special connection there, my dog is great a reading my moods and has warned me of trouble that i didn't even see coming.

Yes, I belive that. Mostly because when I'm around dogs (Don't pick on me, now!0 I feel this connection, like I can feel there emotions, and they can feel mine. I think that when they're feeling the same emotions, or when they try to cheer you up, you feel better, like they're protectiong you, or that they're understanding, and they're askingwhat's wrong? (Why else do you think they peoples emotions?) But no, I don't have a dog, used to, but not any more.

yeah, dogs are great, and i can totally feel a special connection between me and my dog.it feels like i can read every thought that goes through her mind.but i don't think that there is anything special in their make-up that hasn't been bred into them by humans (through domestication over many years). but sure, i'll give it to you that dogs are DEF a special thing!
