Does any one know where I can get cheap Flea & Tick med for my dog Jenix2007-11-25 2:27:57

I also do not know what product to use on him? He is approx 75 pounds. Is Frontline Plus good?

Frontline Plus is very good. Be careful where you get it though, a lot of counterfeit products have been showing up. They look almost identical to the real thing. I'd suggest going to your vet.

Frontline Plus is one of the best products you can use. The preventative lasts with full strength for 4 weeks (Advantage starts losing efficacy in the 3rd week) and is safe and easy to use. Compared to lesser flea and tick preventatives it is not 'cheap' but you get what you pay for.

There's no good cheap flea & tick medicine. Stay away from Hartz or drugstore brands, they only half work and have even more dangerous chemicals in them than what you get at the vets.

I know a few people that have bought it cheap online and they are definitely counterfeit. A guy on ebay sells it cheap and they are reporting him. There's a site that tells you how to tell if it's counterfeit.

if you order from somwhere like petmeds you have to have a prescription and most vets dont' like to write them for you to do buy the meds elsewhere.
