If you have a heavy weight tank top that's the right size, you can put it over her bottom with her tail in the head hole and her legs in the arm holes, like a weird pair of shorts. Tie a knot in it to snug it up to her waist. You can grab the material above that knot like a handle and help her walk outside to go potty. Even if it's a foot from the door.

Unless you're in an apartment or something - but you should try to get her out.

Yes! One of my dogs just got a knee op done in septemeber and they said 4 to 6 weeks of strict rest! And i was like omg are you serious but yes they were. Stict rest, so no pins that were inserted in his leg pop out of place or anything goes wrong.

The first day i kept taking him outside for weez with a towel under his stomach ( in a shape of a U and the top in a handle of you to kinda hold her up and the bottom of the U goes under and up on her belly so not much pressure is on her leg because they said he has to use the leg but not to much. So she will slowly get use to limping on 3 legs till she knows and thinks it will be strong enough for her to start walking on again. NO running NO chasing bird and thats a hard one cause if she will be outside all day and your not home you dont no what she's up to. So leave her inside if you can. Puppy pad im taking that that is where she weez when inside. When she does try and get up i'd say thats what she wants to do take her straight to the pad and say weez and once she does it tell her shes a good girl and give her a pat. she will soon get use to it and will continue to go on the pad. she will also learn quickly another way to squat to do weez. she has to work it out herself. plus another thing dont try and make her do anything, she will do it in her own time. over days/weeks she will become more indepentent and things should start getting back to normal. hope all goes well.
