Cushing's Disease

Cushing's Disease, or Hyperadrenocorticism, is the production of an excess of adrenal hormone, or, more particularly, corticosteroids.
I wouldn't hesitate to take him to the vet or emergency clinic. Even if it is just for piece of mind.

Hi I don't think his scare will hae much t do with it but drinking large amounts of water is usually a sign of kidney problems so please seek professional help before it gets any worse.Regards Jake

To dogs as well as humans, excessive water drinking indicates a. diabetes or b. renal problem (or c. damage of the ureter, but I suppose he pees normally or you'd notice, right?)If you can go to the human pharmacy and buy strips that are urine reagent, and test your dog's urine for glucose, it could be helpful to the vet, although she'll run a blood test for sure.
it's probably diabetes i know as our 15 year old dog has got it too and there isn't much you can do about it
