Do you know of any home remedies or natural products to get rid and prevent fleas?

There is a powder, that is sprikled on carpet and around the house, furniture etc. It's non toxic and it dehydrates fleas and other bugs too. Eliminator is the brand I've used. It is usually called 'Flea busters' It is not a 100% solution but it keeps them from getting settled in the house.

Sprinkle Mule Team Borax on your carpet like you do with carpet fresh, let it sit for 20 minutes and vacuum it up. Then precisely 10 days after do it again.

On my dog I use Frontline. He hasn't had flea problems for years now.

it is waterproof, kills fleas, larvae, and their eggs.it takes care of everything including ticks. You don't have to do anything for the fleas in your house cause putting it on your dog will also take care of everwhere else!! Very awsome product..and not well publicized, the flea stuff does work for 90 days whereas the tick stuff is only good for the 30. I got that straight from one of their representatives!
