Foods Harmful to your dogASPCA ANIMAL POISON CONTROL CENTER
I've seen so many questions about what human food is ok for dogs. I'm not really posting a question here, but I wanted everyone to know that the ASPCA ANIMAL POISON CONTROL website is a wonderful resource that you can trust. www.aspca.org/apcc or you can call them at (888) 426-4435
Sorry it's not a question just wanted to share some important info.
Have a great day all!
Answers:This is a great service, but people should know it is not completely free. You can browse the articles on the website, but if you want direct advice and call they will charge you $55.
It is worth it if you think your pet has eaten something poisonous.
I know because I called last winter when my puppy ate part of a Japanese iris. They were great.
although it's good info, there are many people who will still post stupid questions that can easily be answered just by searching for an answer online.
Some people just don't get it (glad you do) :)
Great info. Also, most vets can tell you over the phone for free. I had a cat emergency once and the tech talked me through it. I brought her a dozen roses a few days later to say thanks.
Thank you, and to the 2 previous answerer's. I wasn't aware of this and have bookmarked it plus sent the link to my family in the US. I went to the link and there is much more info than poison control. Will contact site for pets here in Europe looks very beneficial to all. I am an American in Europe?
